Shops in London Pt/1

~ Welcome to this blogspot's first post ~

My hand there sincerely wishing you a good scroll though this post of imaginary around London's shopping streets. ~ let your mind wander to deluxe boutiques such as Liberty, Harrods or Selfridges as well as little more unique, with more of an individual feel shops in London's East End in Shoreditch.

~ Brick Lane Vintage ~
shelf with advertisement + magazines to take for free
very precisely organised vintage shop ~ colour, pattern ranges hung up on rales - if you are after something in a specific colour or decade Brick Lane is a great spot to make you happy and spend the coins - best of luck hunting for the right garment to complete a colour coordinated outfit !
Street decoration on Carnaby Steet looks lush, worth having a look
Carnaby Steet is a good street to escape the masses of people around Central London. It is more calm, has cafes  as well.

Uni mates outside Vintage shops having a deep talk about today's fashion trends that took inspiration from different decades
Halloween is near - Shop Beyond Retro is already stocking scary garments for early bird party planners
BEYOND RETRO has three shops in London - in Shoreditch, Dalston and Soho.
The Dalston one is the biggest, its massive, followed by the Shoreditch.
I would say they have most variety of different styles, decades, pattern of any Vintage shops in London. Prices are pretty high though for used clothing.
Borderline - very extraordinaire, pretty outgoing street style shop on Brick Lane as well. I really like the simple and dominant illustrations on the clothes and some future oriented details such as big zips and big rings on garments.

Borderline garments - early evening light
Bright, flashy shop window of Rokit Vintage - Brick Lane, also in Camden
Absolute Vintage - used to be favourite spot to find clothes
They have got a huge variety of vintage finds ranging from 20's to 90's
Great to come if you are hunting for something in particular like a sort of wedding dress or pleated skirt -- they would advise you well and it is really well set up.
Good luck finding luck
A more glamourous, deluxe looking window -- in Angel/Highbury & Islington
Pictures weren't allowed in there though.

I am now switching over from East London to Central.
I am beginning with the famous shopping street - Oxford Street -
Oxford Street during day time

Topshop front along Oxford Street - you will find all the chain shops there

-- LIBERTY --
only a step away from Oxford Street near Carnaby Street you will find the LIBERTY department store that is important for London's development of the Arts & Crafts movement.
- there are luxury goods, treasures in areas of art material, clothing, textiles, accessories, parfumery, homeware and food to find.
You can find Liberty open on Great Marlborough street from 10:00 - 20:00
Newburgh N Quarter also Central London, in City of Westminster
View of Regent Street to show you readers the area a little.
Luxury shops are to find there too.
Details of garments I found exiting, inspiring in Liberty.
The embroidery and beading is something I enjoy doing myself.
Marques' Almeida - one of my favourite fashion labels.
I adore all the freyed denim pieces, oversize jackets, exiting denim inventions.
Acne Studios is a swedish company brought to live by Jonny Johansson in Stockholm, 1997
ACNE is used a lot in fashion magazines for editorials nowadays
Something sparkly that caught my eye in LIBERTY.
Great embroidery on a patterned jacket by Gucci
Textile section with especially for Liberty designed Fabrics
Floral, small patterned fabrics are famous for their collection.

Fashion Magazines outside Liberty at a small street side shop, I like that they are accessable in many places around London

Selfridges windows showing designers comments on the 'Shakespeare Refashioned' campaign

In Selfridges - details of garments with Textiles I found extraordinaire and inspiring for my own future work.
Shirt by Dolce & Gabbana

Those shirts, blouses, jackets were my favourites in the whole Selfridges fashion deparment, fabrics go so nicely with the colours and shapes. I was feeling blushed and wish I could own those

Yuliya Magdych - floral, patterned embroidery on blouses showing a nice range of colours

Such a sick illustration done with beads on some denim trousers, I am in love but would worry I would rip it or even scared to sit down.

~ KEJI ~
I like the detail of the belt a lot.

BURBERRY shop window -- on the way to Harrods near Green Park, West London
Inside of Burberry, I seemed a little strange walking in the shop as it is not my kind of price range but people were nice and let me take pictures. I even got the door opened for me. A bit too much for my taste but it has been an interesting experience, one of another kind. Also being surrounded by sculptures made a me feel a bit like if I was in a museum. Maybe the intention of Burberry was to make customers feel very patient when looking at the clothes. I wouldn't feel like touching clothes really as I am not allowed to touch the sculptures too. It somehow had that effect on me.
Last stop of the day - HARRODS -
Harrods departemnt store in Brompton Road in Knightsbridge
It was found in 1834 in East End and it known all over the world.
Like Liberty it is a luxury goods department store where you find products of different kinds of satisfaction from all over the world.
Definitely have a look when you are around.

~ Pretty beading on Ives Saint Laurent garment ~

Loving the floral print
I really like the sides made up in silky fabric

Good feeling this would be - eating in in the glamorous dining room at Harrods
